The world offers craving. God offers fulfillment. God didn’t create us to be validated by living up to how culture defines success. It leaves us pursuing a desire that can never consistently be gratified. But He does give us all we need to live a godly life!
Good news: Our God is the One who defines success! AND Our God satisfies our deepest needs and desires without withholding anything good from us.
(Psalm 36:7-9; Psalm 84:11)
We can live in comparison with imaginary versions of ourselves that have it all together if we choose to, but when we do, we forget what God says is true about us: He delights in us & found us worth pursuing, keeping, and celebrating before we ever had opportunity to perform well. (Ephesians 1:4)

While a godly life may not remove human limits we were created with, it gives us permission to redefine our daily success as God does, leaving us fulfilled instead of hungry for gratification.
Truth for today:
God doesn’t define success by perfection. He prepares me and equips me with what is needed as I take each step. God doesn’t rely on me getting everything right for me to live my roles successfully!

Join me in asking God to define what success looks like for you today!
God,
Thank You for Your perfect guidance in my life; You are always speaking to me. I pray for all attempts for distraction to cease in this moment & I ask You to expose every falsehood or idol leaving me unfulfilled, and show me clearly how You fulfill me. Then help me respond to the truth. Holy Spirit, define what success looks like practically for me today. Help me give myself permission to redefine its meaning as You show me. I disagree with every false argument and come into agreement with Jesus Christ, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit who gives me all that I need and does not withhold good from me. Amen
Psalm 16;Ephesians 5:11; Ephesians 6:12; 2 Peter 1:5-8; James 1:17; Psalm 84:11

Young lady, you sure do have a wonderful way of putting into words the words that God has touched you with. I’m so so happy that we have met and can call each other friends…..
Karen thank you for such kind words. I’m so glad we met as well! Love my tribe!! 💜
I recently spoke with a woman struggling with this very thing. May we embrace our assignment and find peace and contentment until He prompts us for our next.
